ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a People Team Intern to join our People team on a full-time basis for 6 months. This role will be based in our Battersea office onsite 5 days a week.

KEY REPSONSIBILITIES 

  • Employee Support - Be the first point of contact for basic employee queries, providing helpful information on policies and procedures. 
  • Record Management - Assist in tracking employee absences, overtime, and other attendance-related data. 
  • Onboarding & Offboarding - Support with the onboarding and offboarding processes, such as preparing documentation, organising induction schedules, and exit procedures. 
  • Recruitment: Assist in resume screening, and interview scheduling alongside the recruitment team. 
  • HR Administration - Assist in maintaining accurate employee records, scheduling probation reviews, and updating the HR system. 
  • Administrative Support - Provide general administrative support, such as organising files, preparing reports, completing audits and ensuring accurate data collation for payroll  
  • Meeting Support -Take notes during meetings and ensure follow-ups are documented. 
  • HR Initiatives - Participate in projects related to employee wellbeing, inclusion, engagement and internal communication. 
  • Any other ad hoc tasks required.

PROFILE & KEY SKILLS 

  • Attention to Detail - demonstrates strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. 
  • Technical proficiency – highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams is advantageous 
  • Data literacy & Storytelling - proficient in data entry, analysis, and able to turn data and feedback into engaging narratives 
  • Multitasking - manages competing priorities effectively and remains focused under pressure 
  • Integrity - handles sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism 
  • Adaptability - thrives in dynamic environments and adjusts easily to evolving tasks 
  • Communication skills - conveys ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, and builds strong relationships 
  • Thinking outside the box – approaching HR problems as design challenges to be solved from the user’s perspective 
  • Innovation - suggesting new ideas, models or systems 
  • Interest in HR - keen to grow within Human Resources and develop expertise in the field 
  • Relevant experience - previous exposure to HR, People Operations, Payroll, or Administration is advantageous
