Social Media Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Social Media Manager to join the digital marketing team and support the Head of Digital Marketing in developing, growing and engaging with the Vivienne Westwood social media community globally. This role is based in the Battersea Head office on a Full time basis.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social media and social commerce

  • Lead the Vivienne Westwood social media marketing strategy across several platforms and key territories. 
  • Set growth objectives for all the Vivienne Westwood social media channels and work on a strategy to meet them.
  • Managing the social media and content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Weibo, WeChat and Redbook. 
  • Create channel specific social media strategy and content to ensure all channels provide unique value to Vivienne Westwood audience
  • Content creators' partnership strategy – being able to identify and create strong and genuine relationship with KOLs and/or creators that reflect the brand’s values and ethos. 
  • Support the communication team in identifying new talents/KOL/KOC that reflect the Vivienne Westwood’s style and values.
  • Collaborate with other departments to bring campaigns to life on different social platforms.
  • Oversee the content delivery, ensuring all content is on brand and aligned with Vivienne Westwood TOV
  • Assist the content creation teams in developing compelling stories for brand moments and work in collaboration with them to align images and/or videos produced with content planning
  • Leading the social channel reporting and tracking, ensuring the correct report and data has been collected to inform the overall strategy, this includes but it's not limited to audience data.
  • Forecasting and looking after the in house social paid media budgets and closely monitoring performance against target KPIs. 
  • Evaluate performance and provide actionable insights for content improvement.
  • Stay on top of social media format trends and be a first mover to leverage them for content activation
  • Communicate the impact of social media on business objectives and be the point of contact for the Buying and Design teams for anything social media related.
  • Be the go-to person for all things social media and lead meetings or workshops to educate and evolve social media channels.
  • Maintain relationships with platform representatives and identify channel development opportunities.
  • Working in collaboration and lead the Vivienne Westwood paid agency to execute social media ecommerce campaigns that deliver KPIs under agreed budget
  • Review and onboard systems/tools/platforms/reports to improve social media tracking and monitoring
  • Oversee and lead the social media content strategy of Vivienne Westwood’s partners to make sure it aligned with headquarter planning.
  • Working in collaboration with our APAC agencies to improve and define Vivienne Westwood’s presence across different localised channels and Chinese social media specific ones - Weibo, WeChat and Redbook

Digital marketing campaigns project management

  • Being the gatekeeper of the 360-content planning document, making sure the social media content matches the email marketing planning as well as the website ‘look and feel’, product landing pages, to reinforce message or product push. 
  • Work in collaboration with retail marketing team and buying team to make sure content is aligned with products availability and this is reflected across our social media commerce campaigns
  • Championing idea generation within the team, researching and proposing additional digital marketing opportunities to elevate brand awareness, acquisition, and customer retention. 


PROFILE & KEY SKILLS

  • 5+ years’ experience in social media/content marketing for retail and fashion 
  • Excellent understanding of social media landscape, channels and content types
  • Passion for social media, and strong understanding of the luxury fashion landscape
  • Strong writing, verbal communication, and time-management skills
  • Confident communicating strategy, data and insight to senior stakeholders 
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and Photoshop
  • Previous experience in creating and running successful social paid media campaigns
  • Understanding of main digital KPI and metrics and be able to report on them
  • Experience working on GA4 - Google Analytics
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks efficiently 
  • Great flexibility and ability to multitask, work well under pressure and deadlines, and prioritise
  • Good understanding of the APAC social media landscape 
  • Overall strong understanding of all the other digital marketing channels and KPIs to support the wider team when and if required 
  • Previous experience on working on social media analytic tools (preferably Talkwalker) essential
